1 - Brighten up breakfast

Store sliced bread in the freezer and vary your morning toast with cereal bread, brioche, wholemeal bread, bread with raisins or walnuts, etc.




2 -  Handy breadcrumbs

Use crusts and offcuts of bread by toasting them. This will freshen them up. Then run them in a blender or food processor to make fresh and crusty breadcrumbs. Store in small boxes or sealed plastic bags in the freezer.




3 -  Reheating toast

Do not throw away toasted bread, use the reheat function.




4 -  Sparkling chrome

Keep the chrome on the toaster shiny by wiping it occasionally with a little lemon juice or vinegar on a soft cloth.
